Read the first part on this link: THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM (part 1)

3. The name of Jesus:

If you read the book of Acts very well, you will notice that one of the major reasons the Christians were persecuted was because of the use of the name of Jesus. Because, many signs and wonders were wrought through the name of the holy child Jesus (Acts 4:30). The Sanhedrin called the apostles and “…commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus” again (Acts 4:18). The name is a threat to the kingdom of darkness.

The name in the spirit realm is not just a symbol of identity but a seal of authority.

Anywhere it is mentioned, “every knee must bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth and that every tongue Should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10,11). Nothing can resist the use of the name, anywhere, anytime on any matter. Jesus gave us the key of the name, He said, “if ye ask any thing in my name, I will do it” (John 14:14).

The name is what authenticate your command in the spirit realm. When you invoke that name on any matter, the matter instantly response to authenticate that command. When you make a call in this name, there’s a great alarm in heaven such that everything got suspended to respond to that call. The name calls the attention of God anytime it is mentioned. What God did when He gave Jesus such great authority in His name was to put the totality of His integrity in that name. Therefore, God is committed totally and absolutely to what has the backup of that name. The name of Jesus is a key to divine operations. Let the wise take this key along anywhere they go.

4. Key of obedience:

Many of us don’t know the power of obedience. If you are not ready to obey God over every matter, you will always have struggles with your Christian life. This is because, God knows the way. It may not seems like the way to you, but you cannot follow Him and miss the way. Now, the way of God may not be the way you think or feel. But, it is the right way. The key of obedience, I have found it to be a mighty key. How? Just obey what God says, then, you will live a stress free life. You must come to a point where you are ready to live by every Word that comes from God (Matthew 4:4). To be free from sin. Start obeying the instructions of God, as you see in the Bible and as the Holy Spirit will be leading you. Obey every instructions. You will notice that the last time you fell, the Holy Spirit warned you but you didn’t regard it. Be ready to obey the Lord on all matters: What is God saying about giving? Obey. What is God saying about holiness? Obey it. What is God saying about studying the word, about prayers, about evangelism, about love, about faith, about marriage, about your health, about thoughts to entertain, words to speak, etc? Find them out in the Bible and obey them. You will be amazed at the turn around that will take place in your life. Learn to hear God and obey every instructions of the Holy Spirit in you.
When you have known the voice of God and you are such obedient child. You will also be surprised how sickness will obey the words of your mouth, how demons go when you command. You will see nature submitting to your command. No wonder, Elijah held the rain at his word (1Kings 18:1).
Obedience is a kingdom key to a life of fulfilment and supernatural exploits. The results is far beyond what you can talk about. When the Lord tells you to start praying for so and so number of hours per day, or you always have a prompting to pray even when it is not convenient and yet, you have learnt to obey. Your life will soon become an envy to your generation. There is no man who rise to a high level in the kingdom that has not at a point in his/her life decided to obey God always. If you will be different in your generation, be ready to be obedient.
“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:” (Deuteronomy 28:1)
